Stourbridge Crystal Open Meet

Well done to those swimmers who attended the Stourbridge Crystal Open Meet last weekend. This was a tough meet with some very fast swimmers, however there were some good performances resulting in a number of PBs (Note: These are against entry times). Additionally Elwyn Davies, Sam Pryce & Tymon Strzelecki all got Midland Qualifying times in the 50m Back.

COUNTY CHAMPS 2017

Well done to everyone who attended the County Championships which took place over the last two weekends. There were some excellent swims which resulted in 138 PBs over the 4 days from our swimmers.

A number of medals were awarded and additionally some Midland Qualifying Times achieved by Sam, Rory, Tymon & Liv. Additionally Sam Pryce was awarded 2^nd place in the 12 year old Boy category.

Shrewsbury Autumn Open Meet Results

Another great weekend of swims by the Wellington swimmers who attended Shrewsbury ASC Autumn Open Meet at Wolverhampton on Saturday & Sunday. Again for a few this was their first time at an open meet. Well done to everyone who attended.

Stafford Apex Open – 6th December 2015

Sunday saw the second day at Stafford Apex Winter open meet and our 3 swimmers who attended produced some excellent swims and each of them gained at least 1 medal.

Georgia brown had a 13 second PB in the 400 freestyle and followed that up with a bronze medal in the 400IM.

Rhys Helliwell, although having only recently got over a chest bug, had a couple of great performances in the 200IM and 100IM and won Silver medals in both of those events. His 200IM time was a 3 second PB.

Liv Griffiths topped the Wellington medal table with a well-earned Gold medal in the 400 freestyle.
