Finally a big Thank-You to all the parents that helped out, particularly those that were roped in at short notice as timekeepers from the spectators area!!
A small team of 7 swimmers from Wellington competed this weekend at The Brierley Hill Open at Wolverhampton Central Baths. They faced very tough competition from swimmers from 16 different clubs coming from throughout the West Midlands. Considering the standard of the competition, the swimmers did very well, with all of our swimmers coming away with at least 1 personal best each.
Special mention must go to Thomas Mcleod who came away with two gold medals for the 100 and 200m Breastroke events.
Once again, well done to the swimmers and also to all helpers and supporters during the weekend.
